Important Safety Information
Should an emergency occur, our crews are trained to deal with this in an orderly and professional manner. SeaStreak operates a safety-management system derived from the same systems that are employed on transatlantic liners.
Each vessel is fitted with child and adult lifejackets sufficient for each person on board. In addition to which, inflatable life rafts can be deployed so as to afford dry-shod evacuation from the vessel. There are four of these rafts which can accommodate maximum capacities. Being designed for a dry-shod operation means that in the unlikely event you have to evacuate, you will remain warm and dry.
Security and Vessel Information
The vessels SeaStreak New York, New Jersey, Wall Street and Highlands are fitted with four independent waterjet propulsion systems each driven by their own diesel-engine. Each vessel in the fleet either meets or exceeds the requirements of the United States Coast Guard.
All engine rooms are supervised by a technically advanced engine monitoring system from the wheelhouse. They are protected by a fixed fire-fighting system for added safety. Fire-pumps are available in each hull, as well as generators for electrical power.
All vessels and terminals have USCG approved security plans in force.
The vessels are not only equipped with quality equipment, but the company has ensured that management and sea-going teams have the resources and training to give you, our customers, a safe and secure passage to and from Manhattan.
Facilities
All of the SeaStreak catamarans boast indoor and outdoor seating, a full cash bar offering spirits, beer, wine, soft drinks and snacks and numerous rest rooms. From the panoramic windows or observation decks, you will enjoy the stunning views of the New York City skyline.
All SeaStreak facilities and vessels are handicapped accessible.
The Highlands Conners Landing hosts a climate controlled floating terminal with seating, vending refreshments and restrooms. The floating terminal at Highlands Conners is open for all weekday and weekend departures.
The Atlantic Highlands ticket office, which is SeaStreak's main office, is open Monday - Friday from 5:00am - 5:00pm for ticket sales.
The Sandy Hook Bay Marina ticket office is open during the 7:30am departure only.
